How it Works

Your money is paid onto your new pre-paid Visa card
Once you have applied and received your card you must activate it before you can use it.

How do I activate my card?
There are two ways to activate your card:

  • You can activate online as a New User by clicking the New User tab and follow the instructions (click here if you have received your card and wish to activate it).
  • Or please contact Card Services on 0844 847 4425.

What happens once my card is activated?
Only when your card is activated will your payments be made onto your card. Please note that until your card is activated your payments will continue to be paid as usual to your bank account. Payments to your card are on a daily basis (please see below).

Daily payments explained
A card transaction takes three working days to clear through the banking system. All cleared transactions are paid daily to your card (Monday to Friday). Please note that American Express (AMEX) transactions take six working days to clear, and daily payments to your card exclude Bank Holidays.
